‘ Disillusioned by the views and opinions of dewy-eyed, 20-something influencers; telling the world how beautiful everything is, we decided to create Passport Passenger.
The world is not always pretty. Sometimes it’s dirty, smelly and not very nice. We don’t want to glaze over these details looking through rose tinted glasses, showing only the ‘picture perfect’. Sometimes its better to be armed with the truth, to explore knowing that everything is not as you see it in an Instagram post, and real life is not always beautiful. ‘

Passport Passenger is a platform to share our love of travel and exploration. We will share our real-life travel experiences, tips and tricks, and insights to help inspire your next adventure.
Although we believe that travel is a transformative experience that broadens horizons, deepens empathy, and enriches the soul, we also believe that the truth is not always pretty, and that forewarned is forearmed. Please don’t take this as ‘being negative’, far from it. So often we have been disillusioned by the reality of a destination after seeing photoshopped perfection on Instagram, or Travel Blogs, bestowing the virtues of a particular beach or town only to arrive and discover the truth.
Our goal is to inspire and motivate you to step out of your comfort zone and explore new destinations, warts and all. We will take you on a journey to some of the most fascinating and awe-inspiring places on the planet, and provide you with practical information to help you plan your own trips..
